What We Found Out

Cable One is a relatively small internet service provider with its base in Arizona. The company has approximately 730,000 customers. In addition to internet, customers may also have access to Cable One’s TV and telephone services. Because Cable One’s service differs a great deal depending on location, customers within any one of the 19 states that this company reaches may receive different speeds and services.

Connection Speed

Cable One offers customers three internet plans all of which feature high speeds. Their lowest-speed plan, the Streaming plan, has a download speed reaching 50 Mbps and an upload speed up to 3 Mbps.  A step up from that is the Premier plan with downloading speeds up to 60 Mbps and uploading speeds reaching 5 Mbps. The company’s highest speed plan, the Ultra plan, gives customers astonishing and often unheard of downloading speeds of 100 Mbps with uploading speeds reaching 10 Mbps. No matter which of Cable One’s internet plans you choose, all of them offer speeds which allow internet users to stream media on several devices at once.  However, not all plans or speeds may be available in all areas.

Coverage area

Cable One is available in 19 states. They service many regions, especially rural areas, located in parts of the South, Northwest, and Midwest including states such as Texas, Washington, Nebraska, Oregon, New Mexico, Louisiana, North Dakota, and Tennessee.

Services and Features

Besides delivering internet speeds that accommodate the needs of modern internet users, Cable One internet packages are complete with up to 20 email accounts. Additionally, customers receive a whopping 15GB of storage with these accounts. Cable One also offers telephone and cable services.

Customer Support

Customers needing support can contact Cable One via email or telephone. Customers can also get help about topics such as email, modems, and data plans by visiting the company’s website. The website even offers customers a speed tester. Further support can be found on the company’s YouTube channel where customers can access helpful tutorial videos.

Summary

Cable One packages come with high speed internet and plenty of email storage. Customers considering purchasing one of Cable One’s three internet packages should verify that their residence falls within the company’s network and should find out what speeds are available to them.  Those most likely to have access to Cable One internet are residents in the South, Northwest, and Midwest.
